I used subheadings and bullet points to keep the post skimmable. I also balanced a scientific explanation of what skin is and does with actionable steps to take to keep skin healthy. This way, the information would feel personally relevant and useful. Health terms were explained clearly and briefly.
The result was an easy-to-understand blog post about skin health that was chock full of helpful information, so the reader would feel informed and motivated to take specific steps to better their lives.
I worked with Dr. Ibiyemi to come up with a topic for her medical practice’s blog. She wanted a subject that was general enough to have broad interest and was relevant to many people. The challenge was to present useful health information in a way that was easily digestible to the layperson.
